MISSION STATEMENT

The Mounted Posse Horseback Search & Rescue Team is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. They are volunteers, working to help, county, state, and government agencies find, aid, and assist the lost and/or injured hikers, hunters, children, or others in need.

WHAT THEY DO:

These volunteers pay for and maintain their own horses, trucks, trailers, and self-deploy when called by responsible authority to help with a lost, missing, or injured person. Our members are able, and willing to go out for lost or missing persons, to aid and assist them in any way needed, including emergency medical care.

The Mounted Posse is not affiliated with any other club or organization. But are readily available when called upon for assitance by autorities or other search and rescue teams anywhere.

"RIDING FOR THE COMMUNITY..."

The team was founded in March 2002. Since that time they have completed various Search & Rescue training, both on foot, and on horseback, including CPR, and over a dozen Mock Searchs. They continue to train each month to gain more knowledge and experience for both them and their horses. They are a trained volunteer search & rescue team dedicated to saving lives and serving the community. These men and women will respond to emergencies and disasters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
